Debra, who joined the Office in 2009, manages incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Office, and provides general public affairs guidance and support. With the development of Congressional outreach associated with the defense of the Baháʼí’s in Iran, she works closely with Local Spiritual Assemblies and their delegations to improve the consistency and effectiveness of ongoing delegation contact with members of Congress, and collaborates with the Human Rights Officer in the development of materials for Baháʼí delegations and the Local Spiritual Assemblies that supervise their work. She also works on the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures and external policies and guidelines, and serves as database administrator for the congressional outreach records. Debra has a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Written Communications from National-Lewis University in Chicago, Illinois.
