The Welcome Center is fully accessible at ground level, with an elevator to the lower level. Both levels have accessible restrooms.

The Gardens are accessible through a ramp from the parking area and from the corner of Sheridan Road and Linden Avenue (see map).

Because the Temple itself was planned in the 1920s, it lacks some modern features for disability and handicap access. The Auditorium is wheelchair accessible only through a retrofitted elevator from the lower level. Improvements to accessibility are planned for future renovations.

To visit the Temple Auditorium, stop by the Welcome Center Reception Desk or call (847) 853-2300. A guide or staff member will escort you to the elevator. There are designated handicap parking spots next to the Welcome Center and by the Temple’s rear entrance.

The Welcome Center has a wheelchair for those who may need it.
